There's nothing you can do to fix it at your end, it's most likely a signal level issue at the green street cabinet. Ring 150 or 0345 454 1111 and use the option for "if there's a fault with your TV service". When you're put through to someone, tell them you've got pixelation, you've checked all connections and they should send an engineer.

Hi all. First post, apologies if it's in the wrong place!
Long story short, I decided to ditch my TV service a few weeks back to move to Sky. Host of reasons for this, but ultimately cost.
Offers made by VM retentions were not enough to get me to stay, so after 20ish years as a customer, I was off.
I then got a call from what I assume is the Outbound Team, and I was offered a deal on the VIP package that I accepted. I was delighted with the offer made. Unfortunately I got cut off before the chap put everything through the system, and I am still waiting for them to call me back. This was well over a week ago now. is this normal?
I have called retentions 3 times since, and they have said notes are on the system regarding the deal but that it was not confirmed due to dropped call. They cannot process the offer however as their system will not allow it to go through. Any ideas what I should do?
I still have 2 weeks or so before my TV is switched off, but I am keen to get this new deal sorted as soon as possible.

Why Virgin Media Doesn't Show Pakistani Channels in UK
I want to say that the Pakistani community in UK is in millions. Plus there is a large number of Indian and Bengali community in UK who also watch Indian and Pakistani channels. Therefore Sky offers a balanced mix of Indian and Pakistani channels but Virgin Media only shows 1 or 2 Pakistani channels. I am sure that Virgin Media can massively increase the business by just offering the same balance of Asian channels as Sky does.
Contract upgrades
I tried to update a week ago, couldn't figure out on the web what the different prices and options were, sent an email and was told in email back from sales that no offers available for existing BB and phone customers!
My sister got me online again on my account and went through and found an offer for Mix TV for an upgrade price of just £3 extra a month for 12 months. contract received today though says the full £56 a month. Tried Live Chat and even though I went through TV and upgrade - I ended up speaking to a person in Billing who said they couldn't help with anything at all
They couldn't see my order or my contract blah so I am like what am I supposed to do. why am I chasing Virgin all the time - do they want my business or not???

Don't bother with the Online Offers & Upgrades section in My Virgin Media, it's completely unreliable and we see too many threads on here where customers have upgraded through this avenue and Customer Services say they can't see the offer on their system.
The best way to make any changes to your package is to ring 150 from a Virgin phone or 0345 454 1111 from other phones and use the "thinking of leaving us" option which puts you through to the UK Customer Service/Retentions team. They also have the authority to apply discounts.
The standard price for Mix TV, VIVID 100 Broadband & Talk Weekends is £55 per month.

You mean Gold+1? Is the issue the same on Gold and are there any particular programs you've noticed this on?
As a lot of the programmes aired on Gold are old, many are shot in 4:3 aspect ratio so you will see black borders at each side of the screen.

A lot of the network relies on amplifiers & node cabinets in adjacent streets or estates. If the power is still off in those areas you won't get a service until it returns. Give it a bit more time & things should return to normal.

The current service is the BBC Connected red button, accessed by pressing the red button on any BBC channel.

I know that. Get it on Freeview and got it on Sky. But red button for BBC programmes via Virgin lead to other stuff.
