I cannot get my Virgin Media TV remote to pair with my new Hitachi TV!
I have tried all the 50 or so codes on the Help & Settings bar but nothing!
Is there any other way of sorting it?

Sorry to hear of this steve020359, has this improved at all since your last post on Wednesday?
If you cant update the tablet, does it still say that you need to update once it fails? Have you done anymore updates recently to the operating system or software recently? This maybe a system glitch if the tablet thinks that you haven't updated but you have via a different method.
If you're able to clear the notification away does it come straight back?

Hello
If you check here for a list of codes :- https://assets.virginmedia.com/help/assets/documents/audio_remote_code_list.pdf
The only one I can find for Hitachi is 1020
Following :- https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-using-tv-remote#tab1
Programming your remote using a device code
You can also programme the correct code into your remote from the device code list.
The remote can only store one device code type at a time. This means that you can’t control two AV devices at the same time.
If this doesn't work then I afraid that there is no way of controlling your TV.

Is it me? Or is Live Chat somewhere on the dark side of the moon! Just can’t find or get on it!
Tis gone. Its been replaced with a relay text system.
Hi Dommi35,

Virgin Media users, I'm finding that the issue has returned during BBC1 HD LIVE on Would I Lie to you, please confirm.
@Hollybobs1
Sound issues returned during Would I Lie to you, can you confirm Virgin Media if you hear them too?
Yes, it seems to be back (Glasgow, BBC1 HD, VM, Channel 101), during the 10 o'clock news.
@modteam
As you will have noted the issue has returned, its obviously a Blackhill transmitter issue as it's affecting BT aerial freeview customers!
What next, any ideas?
Glad to hear that you and the engineer could fix your issue Chireg69. Have you had any further issues since 7400 error that you managed to resolve?

I've have tried to watch my recorded shows from my TiVo box on my mobile phone linked to my account, but I get an error message saying that out of home watching is not permitted on my TiVo box....
What do I need to do to rectify this problem...???
Hi everyone,
well the comments already here do not surprise me as I am also experiencing the same return of the sound issues in Dundee on VM 101 BBC1 HD Scotland. This coincided with the channel listings for BBC1 on the guide being for the BBC news channel(601), so haven’t known the running order for today!
i hope the moderators for VM take this forwards and I will also raise another complaint with the BBC so the issue can be addressed from both sides once again.
It all seemed so good for a while didn’t it! Here’s hoping for some progress on this please @modteam
Looks like it'll be Strictly via the iplayer on Saturday.
Here is a link to use for anyone wishing to complain to the BBC about this dropout sound problem affecting BBC1 Scotland CH 101
Please delete any previous link that I have sent regarding this and use the one below. By using the link below you can create a case for your own home address which will when submitted will give you a complaint case ID for you only.
