Yes it’s a green box
Re: Box Outside House Damaged
Tv issues
Currently have a TiVo box downstairs and 2 v boxes upstairs one of the boxes hasn’t been used in 3 years the other works when it wants, keeps going to blue screen, freezing and resetting. Tried countless times to sort out the issues, phone various times and just keep getting passed along, and for what we pay a month it’s just not worth it
Re: Box Outside House Damaged
Hi Ruby4.
Thanks for coming back to us and for bringing this to our attention.
So we can get this reported, please can you post some pictures and the nearest post code to the box.
Many thanks
Paul.

Assuming this is the queue for Virgin-CS, then I'd sincerely hope it's not normal. If it is, Virgin-CS has some serious issues!!
Re: Box Outside House Damaged
Hi Paul
nearest postcode SL7 3PA, can’t do pics til later. I would guess that a van reversed into it pushing it backwards and then the door won’t fit into the lock.
One of your guys was out there last week so I thought they would have reported it but it seems worse.
Can it be removed from the front of my house pls as I’m not a customer and it means I can’t get into my lawn.
Thanks
Re: No Picture or sound on Samsung TV.
Thanks for replying. For some reason without touching my previous configuration I lost the sound and picture. Mystifying but mostly resolved now.
Re: No Picture or sound on Samsung TV.
Thanks again Hero! The 'Tech' descriptions of various bits of my set up were a bit lost on me at nearly 80 but thanks to you I have got things working again, picture andd after some fiddling around I have sound though only from the TV and not the surround sound from my home cinema. However I shall read all my manuals again (Cambridge Audio Blu-Ray player and a Sony Amp) and see if I can reset the surround sound which cuts out the TV sound. I at least have TV working again
Re: Box Outside House Damaged
Hi Ruby4.
Thank you for coming back to me.
I will forward this once I have received your pictures, as this will help establish whether this is our box, and will help identify the box, with the number inside.
Kind regards
Paul.
Re: Tv issues
V boxes are designed to be left in standby 24/7. If you disconnect them from the mains for more than a few weeks they drop off the network & have to be re-initialised.
The "blue screen of death" is also not a good sign. If they are VHD boxes then they are becoming life expired anyway & should be replaced,
Re: Tv issues
Been trying to get them replaced but it’s proving impossible

Re: Error code ES004
Thanks for your response GustavoHunter,
Has there been any movement on the situation since your post on Sunday?
Have you contacted us since to see if this can be resolved? I'd also be curious to know how you're connecting to your set top box, is this via Wi-Fi or via Ethernet cable?
Does this issue also effect any other services during this time?

Re: So, is Full House now going to lose all the kids channels?
I'd agree with @cheekyangus on everything except the new Full House costing less. From a little play around with the "Build your bundle" section of the site, Full House certainly doesn't seem any cheaper and may even be a couple of ££ more, all depending on your options.
It looks very much to me like a stealthy price increase. The new setup could benefit lower-tier customers who want kids channels but don't want full-house, but it sure hits the top-tiers for six.
Re: Tv issues
Hi Fozzy81,
Sorry to hear you're having problems with your TV.
I have messaged you on your other thread regarding your online account, once I've got your details I will be more than happy to take a look at your boxes.
Many thanks,
Re: Tv issues
Messaged you again
Intelligent Wi-Fi
Intelligent Wi-Fi - My Ars...
Ever since this has been announced my wi-fi around the house has been worse than before. It used to reach all corners of every room, now there are blackspots in multiple areas, even though the Connect App says Good Wi-Fi coverage there.
Then I go to use the Virgin Go app, BBC iPlayer or Netflix and none of them will stream... great innovation Virgin, seems designed to try and sell a booster for £3 per month!
Anyone else having similary issues? Can it be turned off and go back to the non-intelligent version!
Cheers

4k issues
Hi all,
I'm trying to watch btsport on 4k (spurs Vs Ajax) and the quality is less than hd. Is anyone else experiencing this issue.
Not my TV, as I've just finished a movie on netflNe without an issue. And yesterday was working fine on the same channel

Matt
Reducing my bill
I'm paying 95 for the full package. I have looked through all the questions etc and still can't figure out, can I reduce my bill online or do I have to call virgin? 🙈
