Re: Brown Box Cover Missing
Hi Martin,
No, I was on hold for 30 mins earlier so hung up. Any chance this be done without having to call?
Cheers,
Jonio
Subtitles on Demand
What a disgrace that Virgin do not provide subtitles for on demand even 15 years or so ago Telewest used to have subtitles on it's on demand services.
It is not right that you provide no subtitles for any on demand other than BBC i-player

TV
Installed 3 days ago
Internet and phone fine. States weak or no signal when switch on TV
. Have checked all
connections. No probs. Switched box on and off. Still same issue. Cannot scroll either. Seems to want to access terrestrial TV. What is next step ? Thanks
Re: Blocky/pixelated picture
Has this been fixed yet? I’m still having problems with picture and now I’ve noticed some recording are blocky too and also jump scenes.
Re: TV
Use your TV remote to select the source of the TV signal which could be HDMI 1 (or whatever port you plugged the TV box into).
Re: Problems with my account- new customer
Thank you for your reply.
Well if that is the case, I'll just cancel my contract. I had it just installed yesterday so I'm still under the 14 days cooling off period. I just can't understand how in 10 years of being with VM (husband's paying) and I applied for a new account as a new customer, I don't get anything as a gift or reward. Would you be able to define what do you mean by a "new" customer and an "existing"? Would you be able to pin point on the T's & C's where it says that I have to wait for 12 months in order to be classed as a new customer? I've been sorting out this problem since I signed up but its a very grey area.
Re: Blocky/pixelated picture
No, no internet either now!
Fix is stating 29th at 2pm 😡

That's completely reasonable but the point is that if VM sent out the correct cabling where appropriate to do so, the customer wouldn't be making their own alterations, they'd simply be using the kit & accessories provided to them by VM.
Also I don't know why the hell I capitalised the seasons in my previous post, that's really bugging me now.
Re: TV pixelation issue
Mine has fortunately been fine for a few days not starting to suffer bad pixelation on Channel 4 HD again.
Re: Promotional Offer
Hi christina98,
Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear this.
When was your last communication with the team?

Re: Problems with my account- new customer
I can only apologise for any upset this has caused you.
When you first placed the order this was at a different address so the rewards would have been accepted, but when the address was corrected this would have flagged that it ins't a new account.
You would have to wait for three months before anybody in the property would be able to take over the services as a new customer and be eligible for any rewards. If you need to change the account holder then you can do a transfer of responsibility but this wouldn't set you up as a new customer.
If you do remain unhappy then please refer to our complaints code of practice here and we'll take things from there.
Thanks.
