Could be for real as they are trying to phase out all of the V+ boxes asap.  I would ask to see it confirmed in an email or writing though.


BT Sport Problems

I’m very new to virgin, finally able to watch champions league football this week with BT Sport. Sadly unable to watch a single minute due to the terrible signal coming through. Particularly on their HD channels.

Is anyone else finding this?

All fine here.  Quick fix worth a look... Check all the coax cables are in tight and try changing the HDMI cable and using a different port on the TV.

Thanks for the advice. Sadly didn’t work. Found it last night also, totally unwatchable. I shall keep looking for answers.

Call 150 or 0345 454 1111 options 1-1-4-5 "thinking of leaving" then “technical issues” – (They are open Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm and on Saturday from 8am - 6pm. - 08.01 is best!) you usually get a UK call centre (it might still be a 30’+ wait though) who are more understanding and helpful.  Tell them you are thinking of cancelling because of these problems - and they will try and sort it for you as it’s their job to keep customers.

Hey buddies, I am going to move to a renting flat on the Dumbarton Road near Morrison. I found that Virgin Media could be available to the postcode. It seems that Virgin Media wooould be a little quick. But I found some negative talks about the Virgin Media. Which one could be better? quick and stable? (I sometimes play PC games)..........I would like to know how long I could get the router if I pay my money for Virgin Media..

Plzzz help asap....!!!!!

Test results show no issues with either. I don't think there is an issue with the equipment or connection.

Thanks Rose, I've replied with the info you requested.

However, resetting my devices won't fix the ongoing issue. Each time I log into TV Go I'm asked to register my device (I only use two, my laptop and phone) so once I've done this twice I can't use the function until the start of the next month.

Pixelating and Freezing on HD Channels

It's becoming a nightmare trying to watch anything on Sky Movies or HD because of the constant pixel-ating, buffering and freezing of the screen.

I've tried restarting and re-setting the tivo box with no success.

I tried to check the TV on the Help section of this website and there are a number of post with no resolution and have not been able to get through to anyone on the phone!

Can someone of the forum moderating/staff help please?

The free TV's are sent to you once you have been an active customer for 28 days.

They are then dispatched by the company Exertis who fulfill these orders for us.

This takes up to a further 10 working days in total.

Once you have been with us for 38 days as  a customer if this is still not with you please pop back and we can investigate further.

Lack of subtitles and out of date subtitle style and location

So still no VM improvements to subtitle service ! After many years of waiting for VM to catch up with other providers (e.g Netflix and terrestrial channels) still one size (BIG), location hiding display, and no service for on demand films etc.
