no it worked for 1 week through the fibre wire that the engineer plugged in for me then it went to no sound on soundbar through any hd channel or film but worked fine through none hd channels

In newly cabled areas, yes there are sales reps knocking on doors. However, I have never heard of VM buying out contracts, which does make this sound suspicious. Get in touch with your Broadband provider. They will soon tell you if any changes have been made to your account.

Hi was watching desperate housewives last night got season 7 lol and now this morning disappeared can't find or search any ideas ? Has it been taken off?!

Probably if you select an item on demand or catch up it tells you at the right hand side how long it is available VM do not have shows on demand or catch up as long as Sky do.
HD channels all breaking up
After upgrading and paying top money I have been unable to watch most of my HD channels especially live football due to the picture breaking up all the time. I have contacted virgin many times, that’s when someone answers. I was informed after my last call that the problem would be fixed within 48 hours, I am still waiting after nearly 4 weeks. As I am not receiving the service I am paying for and as I have informed you ( you record the calls) am I able to cancel my contract without penalty to me

Apologies for the delay in reaching your post, and for the issue you're experiencing with Netflix. I've taken a look at things and I believe that the "area wide issue" that you were advised of when you called would affect things like Netflix. The issue I've spotted that affects you, is down to network congestion, our Network engineers are working on this and have a review date set as 10/04/2019.

So why when you go on boxsets and the little box at the top right hand side showing on there that you can watch series 1 -14 ?
I have seen the it 2/3 times advetised on there DON'T ADVERTISE THINGS YOU CAN NOT WATCH ITS ANNOYING AND FALSE ADVERTISING.
Can you advise why its advertising that when its not available to watch its not acceptable

V+ upgrade
Hi i have been getting constant calls from virgin media for a month or more , which until today i have not answered.
Today I answered, they said they would like to upgrade my V+ box to a V6 box. I already have a V6 box , so soon i will have two.
They said there will be no charge for installation, no extra monthly charge and no change to my contract.
Is this for real ?
I am very skeptical.
In a confirmation email it said my bill is going up soon but i think this is the increase that has been coming to all customers ( recent price hike )
Anyone else had this ' free ' offer

BT Sport HD channels are broken
Tivo with an alleged 100Mbps link in City Centre Edinburgh.
I would say the HD versions of BT Sport work about one out of every four times I try them - Man U v Juve tonight being a case in point - either a completely unwatchable pixellated mess or the dialogue tell you to phone them (where, after a 10 minute trawl thru the IVR menus, it offers to remotely bounce your router - rarely convenient for me)...
Any suggestions for things to investigate..
