As the account holder you will have to phone, otherwise how do you expect anything to done about the issue, the lines are open 7 days a week 8am till 10pm.Regards Micky

Hi Macdavew, 

 

I'm glad to hear the TV has sound now after a little tweaking, it can sometimes be from dust collecting in the ports and disrupting the connection. 

However, if you feel it has something more to do with your TV box then we can continue to figure things out. 

How old is your V6/TIVO box?

Sorry to hear you are having issues with our refer a friend process. As mentioned this is an online process. Can you confirm you did this online? Have you received an email with a refer a friend code?

Hi our TiVo box has suddenly stopped working in our sons room. When we switch it on we have just the blue light and a flashing red light and just says starting up on the screen. Internet in the house is fine and all other boxes are working. Can you help?

Sounds like your box has seen it’s last days however if you want something done about it you will need to call and report it. If you have a VM landline call 150 and choose Tv faults. Let them know what has happened and they will either run a test or tell you that you need a new box. On here even if a site mod sees this post he/she will more than likely tell you to call and report it.

And just to add to Mick's comments...

I'm not the account holder, but I've got third party authorisation setup with Mrs japitts whose name is on it.

Alternatively, if the OP decides that reporting the fault is too much effort, and they choose another supplier - they will need to call Virgin to cancel services anyway. So they won't save anytime in the end.

Thanks for the reply but I tested the box in another room and it booted up fine so must be something going on with the cable.

Channels are black

I was happily watching a programme on catchup when it froze. I closed it and went to tv and all my channels are there, the guide works but all the channels are black. I ran the diagnostic test and it said everything was working. I've tried to watch on demand but it is black screen too. I've seen a previous post where virgin just kept hoping to problem would resolve itself. Relaxing night watching tv cancelled!

Cheers for the reply - we did have an issue with the link back in July but that was fixed and we've not had any further reported issues. 

 

Have you had any further contact from us since your initial letter in July? Have you been able to contact us directly on 150/0345541111 so we can assist and process the swap for you?

Anyone else promised a manager phone call because they are all in a meeting or on calls and never receive one back? The company is a joke. I can’t wait to leave

Welcome to our Community and thanks so much for your very first post - I was sorry to understand that you've had an issue with a promised callback. 

 

Can you provide a bit more information so we can best assist you? What was the callback regarding? 

 

When a callback is arranged, this should be done within 4 hours or at a time agreed with you and the manager.

It was a complaint I made. I have previously spoke to a manager who said the process was 40 days. So I have left it nearly 40 days and get w bill today that says I’m in arrears which is in correct as you didn’t apply the credit. So I asked a update on my complaint. The agent said there isn’t one it’s resolved in the call. I have been lied to over the last 4 months. And I am so fed up of the horrific service today is the final nail in the coffin and will be looking to take it much further
