HAve had Tech’s out changing our bandwidth as sky sports is basically like watching a 1970’s football match!
it was fine for two weeks after this and has now gone back to a grainy pixelated picture, where we can’t even pick out players numbers!
Advice?
I can't see how to make a new post, so attached to this thread.
I had an installation last year, and have just discovered the cable from the public footpath to my properly has been laid about 1/2" below the surface! Totally unacceptable, and likely to get damaged from mowing etc., as it has now emerged to the surface at one point.
I need it re-laid properly, so how do I get the installations team to do this?

Due to costs I've had to reduce my package from vip to the full house which still gives me BT Sport but when I went to watch it on "TV GO" on my computer the channel has been removed. I understand I would not get sky sports but I thought I would still get BT sport on TV GO. So the question is should I still have it or not?
The installation took place in September 2018.
A section of cable near the external box attached to my property has appeared above the surface.
The installers (who arrived and went while I wasn't at home) appear to have laid the cable just below the surface. Supposed to be along the edge of a pathway, in the lawn, which would have been so easy to lift the ground and place the cable an appropriate depth, rather than just tucked into the surface.
Any cable sticking up in my garden is a trip hazard.
It needs sorting ASAP.

To watch Virgin TV provided with the bundle optical fiber + TV + phone, do i need a satellite signal connected to the Virgin Hub, or TV runs through the optical fiber (or eventually the normal free TV signal) ?

It's fibre to the cabinet then triple screened coaxial to the door, this feeds both the Internet and the set top box

@biker2day It's not a question of them investing in anything - the feature we're asking for already exists on our TiVo boxes... but Virgin won't let it be applied on certain apps.
Virgin Media is Cable TV, so you don’t need any kind of antenna. It is fed via a coaxial cable, which carries both TV & Broadband services. You cannot receive any TV without a Virgin provided Set Top box & a subscription.

NIT updates can trigger this behaviour. Switch to another channel & then switch back & the channel should appear.

Can I suggest you contact Virgin Media Ireland directly.
This forum is for customers of Virgin Media UK & the staff here won’t be able to help you as VM Ireland & VM UK are totally separate companies. Hence they have no access to each others billing systems.
I am getting double vision on all TV; all channels menus, all the pictures. It isn't TV as other devices work fine.
What happens if you play a recording from your TV box?
Sorry, I meant signal level. And I did have an engineer come out,gave me a booster and a new box and two weeks later, I have exactly the same problem!
