Thanks for your reply. I don't think I implied that VM were responsible...quite the opposite in fact. And you're right I am miffed!

However, until the VM engineer comes out I cannot be totally certain that my suspicions are correct. You have confirmed my fears that if the trench is infilled before the route cause of my issue is identified it could cause me major problems.

Thank you for your advice, I found the board with some contact details which I will be phoning tomorrow morning.
