Thank you for your message. You're right, the mini screen should be able to be closed as I've just done this myself.
I would suggest rebooting the box first then try and clear any cache you have stored by:-
- Go to the home screen of your TiVo® and press: Thumbs down, Thumbs up, Record, Record on your TiVo® remote.
Try that out and please let me know how you get on.
