Hello, new to these forums and hoping that somebody can help me out.
I'm absolutely loving my new Virgin Media services. Signed up for the Big Kahuna with Broadband up to 200MB.
What I'm not loving is Virgin Customer Services.
When I was sold my package, the salesman said that I would receive free Sky Sports and Movies for the first 3 months. To be honest, it's one of the main reasons I signed up for the service. When he called up to sign me up for the service, I even heard him ask if I was eligible for the offer and the person on the other end of the phone said yes. On the pre-contract form that was completed, it clearly states that I will get the offer.
However, when I checked if I had these channels after installation, it seems they aren't available. I contacted the Virgin Media customer service team via Live Chat. The agent told me that there was no record of me receiving this offer as the offer ended on the 23rd of April (my service started on the 30th) and that I should call customer services if I feel I have been misled by my salesman and they will sort it out. After being on hold for around 10-15 minutes however and being passed around to different people, I have no answer as to why this has happened.
Hoping that this has happened to somebody else and they can let me know how to proceed. I really don't understand why I should pay £130 for my first month with Virgin when their package is not as advertised.
Hope somebody can help me out.
Thanks a lot,
Andrew Dolan
